Every pet in Steal an Egg is listed below with its rarity, income per second and where it comes from. The pet Index now holds well over 200 pets across 13 regular biomes, a long list of limited eggs and the brand-new Halloween Dimension from Update 9, which added 35 pets on its own. The top earner is still the Spirit World Guardian at about $26B/s. Use the tables as a lookup, or jump to the section for the biome you’re farming.
Last updated October 20, 2026, after Update 9 went live on October 17 with the Halloween Dimension. This page gets updated every time a new pet drops, so bookmark it instead of trusting last month’s list.
Steal an Egg Pets at a Glance: Rarity Tiers and Income Ranges
Pets sit in 10 rarity tiers. Each tier roughly multiplies earnings, but the ranges overlap because a rare pet from a late biome can out-earn an epic from an early one.
| Rarity | Typical base income | Example pet |
| Common | $1 to $6/s | Chicken, Jerboa |
| Uncommon | $8 to $18/s | Bird, Fennec |
| Rare | $35 to $280/s | Camel, Dodo |
| Epic | $180/s to $4K/s | Swan, Crane |
| Legendary | $1.8K/s to $550M/s* | Axolotl, Pterodactyl |
| Mythic | $16K/s to $750M/s* | Scorpion, Mammoth |
| Cosmic | $185K/s to $900M/s* | Leviathan, Triceratops |
| Secret | $1.25M/s to $2.5B/s | King Snake, Yeti |
| Eternal | $65M/s to $4B/s | Ice Dragon, Mosasaurus |
| Divine | $1B/s to $26B/s | Unicorn, Kitsune |
*The upper end of these three tiers comes from re-roll variants (Skeletal, Luminous, Mecha), not normal hatches.
How Many Pets Are in Steal an Egg Right Now?
Well over 200, and the number keeps climbing. The game launched with a few dozen pets, and older lists quoting 78 or 86 are simply from before the Angels & Demons, Enchanted Forest, limited-egg and Halloween Dimension updates landed. Different trackers also count re-roll variants differently, so you will see totals that disagree by a handful.
A cleaner way to think about it: the Index splits into World pets (found in biome nests) and Limited pets (events, milestones and the Robux Shop). Everything below follows that split.
The 10 Highest-Earning Pets in Steal an Egg
If you only want the leaderboard, here it is. All ten are Divine except where noted.
| Rank | Pet | Income | How you get it |
| 1 | Spirit World Guardian | $26B/s | Fusion Machine inside the Enchanted Tree |
| 2 | Skeletal Sabertooth | $9B/s | 1% Skeletal re-roll |
| 3 | Royal Skywhale | $8B/s | Enchanted Forest egg |
| 4 | Mecha Scrambler | $7.5B/s | Rare boss drop from Dr. Scramble |
| 5 | Aetheron | $6.9B/s | Fusion at the Secret Shrine |
| 6 | Luminous Cthulhu | $6.5B/s | 1% Luminous re-roll |
| 7 | ArchAngel, World Burner, Sabertooth | $5B/s each | Angels & Demons eggs, Extinction Egg |
| 8 | Octophant, Mecha Dreadscale (Skeletal Gigantus is Eternal) | $4B/s each | Lab trade-in, Monster Egg re-roll, Extinction re-roll |
| 9 | Shattered Colossus | $3.5B/s | Rift egg (event ended) |
| 10 | Nightflame, Cthulhu | $3B/s each | Titan Temple, Luminous Egg |
Ties are common at the top because developers tend to round Divine incomes to clean numbers. Remember that this is base income. A giant or mutated copy of a lower pet can beat a plain copy of a higher one (more on that below). The new Halloween pets aren’t ranked here yet because their base incomes haven’t been published, so this leaderboard will be revised the moment real numbers appear.
Forest, Lake, Desert and Jungle Pets: The Starter Zones
These four biomes cost almost nothing to enter and fill your base with its first real income. The Forest is free, Lake needs 900 Speed, Desert 10K and Jungle 40K. The full gate list lives in the Steal an Egg biomes guide.
Forest pets
| Pet | Rarity | Income |
| Chicken | Common | $1/s |
| Dog | Common | $2/s |

| Swan | Epic | $320/s |

Cosmic, Cherry Blossom and Titan Temple Pets: The Late-Game Ladder
Entry here runs from 700M Speed (Cosmic) to roughly 7B (Titan Temple), so most of the pets below are goals, not daily farms.
Cosmic pets
| Pet | Rarity | Income |
| Centapede | Epic | $1.5K/s |
| Cosmic Gecko | Legendary | $30K/s |
| Cosmic Gorilla | Mythic | $180K/s |

| Cosmic Skeleton Boss | Secret | $45M/s |
| Cosmic Dragon | Secret | $60M/s |
| Eternal Lunar Dragon | Eternal | $250M/s |

| Crane | Epic | $4K/s |
| Salamander | Legendary | $74K/s |
| Red Panda | Mythic | $450K/s |
| Snowy Owl | Cosmic | $7.5M/s |
| Koi | Cosmic | $12M/s |
| Stag | Secret | $145M/s |
| Oni Tiger | Eternal | $600M/s |

| Rhinotaur | Cosmic | $17.5M/s |
| Mutant Shark | Secret | $215M/s |
| Gorilla King | Eternal | $880M/s |
| Nightflame | Divine | $3B/s |
The Gorilla King both guards the biome and drops from it, but being the guardian doesn’t guarantee the hatch. The Gorilla King route covers how to actually land one.
Angels & Demons Pets: Light, Darkness and the Fusion Pair
This biome flips between a Light side and a Darkness side, and each one has its own eight-pet egg pool. The Light pool tops out at the ArchAngel and the Darkness pool at the World Burner. If the Angel Egg is what you’re after, start here.
Light side
| Pet | Rarity | Income |
| Light Dove | Legendary | $225K/s |
| Winged Lamb | Mythic | $1.25M/s |
| Sacred Moth | Cosmic | $16M/s |
| Holy Peacock | Cosmic | $25M/s |
| Pure Jellyfish | Secret | $225M/s |
| Centaur | Secret | $350M/s |
| Pegasus | Eternal | $1.3B/s |
| ArchAngel | Divine | $5B/s |
Darkness side
| Pet | Rarity | Income |
| Flame Sprite | Legendary | $225K/s |
| Toro | Mythic | $1.25M/s |
| Imp | Cosmic | $16M/s |
| Demon Hound | Cosmic | $25M/s |
| Gargoyle | Secret | $225M/s |
| RazorFang | Secret | $350M/s |
| Skeleton Horse | Eternal | $1.3B/s |
| World Burner | Divine | $5B/s |
Neutral and fusion pets
| Pet | Rarity | Income | How you get it |
| Ring Guard | Secret | $15M/s | Neutral side |
| Ringlord | Secret | $825M/s | Neutral side |
| Equinox | Eternal | $1.8B/s | Fusion at the Secret Shrine |
| Aetheron | Divine | $6.9B/s | Fusion at the Secret Shrine |
The Secret Shrine only accepts Light or Darkness Eternal and Divine pets, so the two fusion pets are an endgame project.
Enchanted Forest Pets and the $26B/s Spirit World Guardian
The newest biome asks for about 50B Speed. Its eight-pet pool is below, and the Enchanted Forest creatures page breaks down the secret eggs in more detail.
| Pet | Rarity | Income |
| Prism Gecko | Legendary | $350K/s |
| Petal Beetle | Mythic | $1.2M/s |
| Enchanted Bluejay | Mythic | $2.5M/s |
| Astral Jackalope | Cosmic | $30M/s |
| Spirit Panda | Cosmic | $90M/s |
| Starry Fox | Secret | $750M/s |
| Celestial Sunlion | Eternal | $2B/s |
| Royal Skywhale | Divine | $8B/s |
Two more pets come from inside the Enchanted Tree, which opens after the Wisp quests:
| Pet | Rarity | Income | How you get it |
| Jitterbug | Secret | $130M/s | Hidden mushroom memory puzzle, then talk to Jitterbug in the band room |
| Spirit World Guardian | Divine | $26B/s | Hidden Fusion Machine: two players each add 1 Celestial Sunlion and 1 Royal Skywhale |
That fusion recipe means four pets total and a partner, so plan it before you start burning Eternal and Divine hatches. The Enchanted Tree guide has the full route.
Halloween Dimension Pets: All 18 Biome Pets and Both New Eggs (Update 9)
Update 9 went live on October 17 and it is the biggest single pet drop since the Enchanted Forest. It added 35 new pets in three separate pools: 18 biome pets you steal inside the portal at spawn (next to the Trails Shop), five pets from an egg you buy with Candy Corn, and 12 outcomes from a Robux egg (six pets, each with a Zombified version). The event listing runs until October 24, 2026, and the developer calls it a two-part event, so expect more pets when part two lands.
One honest warning before the tables: no base income has been published for any Halloween pet yet. Rarity and hatch odds are what we can confirm, so those are what you get below.
Graveyard pets (Zone 1)
The Graveyard is the starter zone of the dimension and also where the Pumpkin Collection event pays out. Spawn weights come from the game’s own data files, so read them as rough chances rather than developer-published odds.
| Pet | Rarity | Spawn weight |
| Whiskers | Epic | 39.87 |
| Jesterpop | Legendary | 34.39 |
| Candlefang | Mythic | 19.62 |
| Spirit Knight | Cosmic | 4.55 |
| Graveyard Brute | Secret | 1.24 |
| Ghost Reaper | Eternal | 0.31 |
Haunted Swamp pets (Zone 2)
This is the zone with the Ghost Fisherman and the Phantom Express station. Two of its six pets haven’t had their rarity confirmed yet, so they’re marked as such instead of guessed.
| Pet | Rarity | Spawn weight |
| Hooded Gerbil | Legendary | 38.39 |
| Toadstool | Mythic | 27.27 |
| Patchwork Imp | Cosmic | 18.83 |
| Haunted Scorpio | Cosmic | 13.96 |
| BloodBloom | Not confirmed | 1.24 |
| Shelltide Voyager | Not confirmed | 0.31 |
Abandoned Manor pets (Zone 3)
The Manor is the long, risky run, and it holds the rarest egg in the whole dimension. The Voidseer Pumpkin has a spawn weight of just 0.056, which makes it roughly 5.5 times rarer than Ghost Reaper, and player reports describe it as a Divine pet.
| Pet | Rarity | Spawn weight |
| Mimic Chest | Legendary | 43.1 |
| Crowshade | Mythic | 37.51 |
| Hexed Pumpkin | Cosmic | 18.32 |
| Werewolf | Not confirmed | 0.74 |
| Abomination Kong | Not confirmed | 0.31 |
| Voidseer Pumpkin | Divine (reported) | 0.056 |
Halloween Dimension Egg (2,250 Candy Corn)
This egg sits in the Halloween shop inside the dimension and costs no Robux at all. The odds below are the ones shown on the in-game shop panel.
| Pet | Rarity | Hatch chance |
| Candy Corn | Legendary | 51% |
| Hollow Bat | Mythic | 24% |
| Scarecrow | Cosmic | 18% |
| Pumpkin Golem | Secret | 6.5% |
| Soul Phantom | Eternal | 0.5% |
At 0.5%, Soul Phantom averages about one hatch per 200 eggs, or roughly 450,000 Candy Corn. That’s an average, not a promise: you could land it on egg one or egg 400. Most players will collect the first four pets and treat Soul Phantom as a lucky bonus. If you’re short on currency, the Halloween Dimension guide breaks down the fastest ways to farm it.
Robux Halloween Egg and the Zombified variants
The limited Halloween Egg lives in the Featured tab of the main Shop. It follows the same formula as the Monster, Luminous and Extinction eggs: six pets, plus a 1% chance for any hatch to come out as a Zombified version. Prices are 99 Robux for one egg, 249 for three, 799 for ten and 3,499 for fifty.
| Pet | Hatch chance |
| Pumpkin Fiend | 39% |
| Night Fang | 24% |
| Tombstone Bear | 18% |
| Grave Cerberus | 11% |
| Phantom Dragon | 6.5% |
| Bone Emperor | 0.5% |
| Any Zombified version | 1% |
Chasing Bone Emperor by averages means about four 50-packs, or close to 14,000 Robux, with no guarantee. The shop timer showed roughly two weeks at launch, so check the countdown in the game before you spend anything late in the event.
Are the Halloween pets worth chasing?
For income, nothing is confirmed to beat the current top earners, so don’t swap a proven pet out of your pen for an untested one. For collection and trading, the top slots (Ghost Reaper, Soul Phantom, Bone Emperor and Voidseer Pumpkin) are the ones most likely to stay scarce once the event closes, though that’s a prediction and not a guarantee. The 51% and 39% slots are Index filler: hatch them for the entry, then move on.
Limited and Event Pets in Steal an Egg
Limited pets never spawn in biome nests. They come from events, milestone rewards or the Robux Shop, and several of them are no longer obtainable except through luck on a re-roll or a rare drop. Check the tag on each row before you plan around one.
Nitro Race pets (Win Pass rewards)
Race wins unlock these through the Win Pass. Income hasn’t been published for any of them yet. The Racing Event guide has the full reward track.

| Race Seahorse | Legendary | 1 |
| Race Lizard | Mythic | 5 |
| Race Bird | Cosmic | 15 |
| Race Cheetah | Secret | 21 |

Boss Milestone and boss-drop pets
Five pets unlock as you rack up kills on the Mech boss, as laid out in the Boss Milestone guide. Mecha Scrambler is a separate random drop.
| Pet | Milestone | Rarity | Income |
| Eye Bat #021 | 10 | Legendary | $115K/s |

| Pink Dragon Experiment #010 | 100 | Eternal | $2.5B/s |
| Mecha Scrambler | Random boss drop | Divine | $7.5B/s |
The first Dr. Scramble event also gave out three exclusive pets: Nibbles #013 (Cosmic, $185K/s), Experiment #001 (Secret, $285M/s) and 67 (Secret, $1.5M/s). The Nibbles quest guide shows how to find Nibbles if you’re hunting it.

Shop eggs: Extinction, Luminous, Monster and Brainrot
The premium Shop rotates one limited egg at a time. Hatch chances are fixed, which is why these tables are some of the few places where you can calculate odds. The Extinction Egg page covers the Robux cost in detail.

Re-roll variants: Skeletal, Luminous and Mecha
Each limited egg ships with a re-roll modifier that gives a 1% chance to hatch a boosted version of the pet. These are the reason Legendary and Mythic pets show income in the hundreds of millions.
| Variant | Top result | Income |
| Skeletal (Extinction Egg) | Skeletal Sabertooth | $9B/s |
| Luminous (Luminous Egg) | Luminous Cthulhu | $6.5B/s |
| Mecha (Monster Egg) | Mecha Dreadscale | $4B/s |
Why Two Players With the Same Pet Earn Different Money
A pet’s final income is its base rate multiplied by its size and any mutation, so the numbers in every table above are the floor for a plain copy. A giant hatch or a mutated one can earn noticeably more than the list value, and that is why trackers rarely agree on a single “best” pet for trading.
Mutations stack their own rules. The Enchanted Mutation is known for its guaranteed application, while the Nitro mutation is a gamble with reported odds and an unconfirmed multiplier. If a number matters for a decision (a fusion, a trade, a Trophy purchase), check it in the game before you commit.
How to Get Any Pet: Egg Run Rules That Matter
The loop never changes: steal an egg from a guarded nest, outrun the guardian chasing you, carry it to your base and wait out the hatch timer. Three details make the difference in practice:
- Eggs reset every five minutes, so a failed run costs you a timer, not the egg for good.
- Heavier eggs slow you down. A run that works with a light egg can fail with a giant one at the same Speed.
- Secret, Eternal and Divine eggs trigger an on-screen notice when they spawn, so keep an eye on the screen if you’re hunting a top pet.
Other players can also tackle you and take the egg before you reach home, which is why rarer eggs make the run more contested. You can ride a pet between zones once you’ve unlocked the feature, and the ride pets guide covers the Ride button and mount rules.
Which Pets Should You Chase First at Your Current Speed?
Don’t hold out for a Divine when a Mythic would double your income this hour. A sensible order:
- Under 900 Speed: Farm the Forest and fill the early Index slots. Brr Brr Patapim is your first Legendary.
- 900 to 40K: Lake and Desert. Leviathan and Royal Sphinx are the standout upgrades.
- 40K to 700K: Jungle and Snow. King Snake and Ice Dragon are the first big income spikes.
- 700K to 18M: Volcano and Abyss Ocean. Phoenix, Lava Dragon and El Maja are all Eternal-tier.
- 18M to 700M: Prehistoric for Mosasaurus and the Secret-tier T-Rex.
- 700M and up: Cosmic for the Unicorn, then Cherry Blossom, Titan Temple, Angels & Demons and finally the Enchanted Forest.
Completing Index entries also hands out Speed and money rewards, so working through a biome in order usually beats skipping straight to the rarest egg.
Numbers That Change Between Updates
Pet data in Steal an Egg is patched often, and not every figure online agrees. Treat these as the shaky spots:
- Enchanted Forest incomes. Early figures for Prism Gecko, Petal Beetle, Astral Jackalope, Spirit Panda and Starry Fox were revised after launch, so the table above uses the latest reported values.
- Nitro Race pet incomes. Not published yet.
- Titan Temple and Angels & Demons top-pet income. Reported inconsistently across trackers.
- Trading. No official in-game pet trading system has been confirmed as of this update, so any “trade value” you see is community-set.
- Halloween Dimension incomes and rarities. The 35 Update 9 pets are live, but no base income has been published, and four biome pets (BloodBloom, Shelltide Voyager, Werewolf and Abomination Kong) don’t have a confirmed rarity yet. Part two of the event may add more.
If the game and a guide disagree, the game wins. Our Steal an Egg updates page logs every patch, and the Mounts update recap covers the latest changes.
