To unlock the Enchanted Tree in Steal an Egg, you need 50B Speed, a visit to the Wisp inside the Enchanted Forest, and three Grow Your Wisp quests finished in order. Then you hit Return the Wisp and use Enter Enchanted Tree on the sealed door behind the biome boss. That’s the whole chain, and skipping any link leaves the door locked.
The tree matters because it hides the Butterfly Net, the Conversion Center, and the Enchanted Mutation Shrine. Without it, the biome’s butterfly system never switches on for you.
The Fast Route to the Enchanted Tree
- Reach 50B Speed so the Enchanted Forest biome and Wisp are available to you.
- Find the small golden Wisp near the biome entrance and open its Grow Your Wisp panel.
- Steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs and bring them to your base.
- Fuse three matching Enchanted Forest pets in the Fuse Machine.
- Steal any Eternal egg from any biome.
- Reopen the panel and select Return the Wisp.
- Walk to the spiral tree behind the boss and choose Enter Enchanted Tree.
Each quest is locked behind the one before it, so you can’t pre-farm the Eternal egg and expect credit.
Why Does the Enchanted Tree Need 50B Speed?
Speed is the gate for the whole biome, not just the tree. The Enchanted Forest sits past Angels & Demons and carries the highest Speed requirement in the game right now. An enchanted Lion guards it, and if your Speed is short, the guardian catches you before you can reach an egg or the Wisp.
The Wisp itself only spawns for players who meet that threshold. If you walk in and see nothing, your Speed is the first thing to check, not the map. If you’re still climbing the ladder, the Update 7 rundown shows where the biome fits in the current progression.
Where Do You Find Wisp Before the Tree Opens?
Look near the right-hand side of the biome entrance, close to the recommended-speed board. Wisp is a tiny glowing golden-yellow spirit, and it’s easy to run straight past. A yellow circle on the ground marks the interaction spot.

Walk into it and the Grow Your Wisp tracker opens. Wisp starts at Stage 1. If you want the full location breakdown and troubleshooting for a missing spawn, our Wisp guide covers it in more detail.
The Three Grow Your Wisp Quests, Step by Step
| Stage | Quest | Amount | Notes |
| 1 β 2 | Steal Enchanted Forest eggs | 20 | Eggs from other biomes don’t count |
| 2 β 3 | Fuse an Enchanted Forest pet | 1 fusion | Needs 3 matching pets |
| 3 β 4 | Steal any Eternal egg | 1 | Any biome works |
Quest 1: Steal 20 Enchanted Forest Eggs
It’s the normal steal-and-run loop, just at the 50B tier. Grab an egg, sprint it back to base, and watch the 0/20 counter climb. Rarity and weight don’t matter here. A few trackers list 10 eggs instead of 20, but 20 is what the quest panel reports for most players, so plan for that number.
Claim the quest in the panel once the counter fills, or Wisp won’t advance. The interaction can feel a little buggy, so if nothing happens, step off and tap it again.
Quest 2: Fuse an Enchanted Forest Pet
The quest asks for one fusion, not a pile of them. Hatch three identical Enchanted Forest pets, then run them through the base Fuse Machine. Three Petal Beetles, for example, turn into a Petal Beetle Egg and satisfy the step.
Quest 3: Steal an Eternal Pet
This is the slow one, and honestly where most players stall. Eternal eggs appear on a timer and can show up in any biome, so the Enchanted Forest isn’t required. Keep your spawn alerts on and stay mobile. If you already know the route, our Eternal Gorilla King walkthrough shows how the Eternal tier plays out once you grab one.
The Step Most Players Miss: Return the Wisp
Finishing quest three doesn’t open the tree. You still have to reopen the Grow Your Wisp panel and press Return the Wisp. Only then does Wisp move to Stage 4.
This is the number-one reason people report a sealed door after “completing everything.” The panel shows all three rows done, but the return button sits unused underneath.
Where Is the Enchanted Tree Door, and How Do You Enter?
The tree stands in the middle of the Enchanted Forest, behind the biome boss, marked by a glowing spiral. Before you finish the chain, the door reads that the tree is sealed and asks you to help your Wisp grow.

Once Wisp is at Stage 4, walk up and choose Enter Enchanted Tree. The seal breaks permanently, so you won’t repeat the quests on this account. Watch the boss route on your way in, since faster players will be racing you for the same eggs, much like during the Rift event.
What’s Inside the Enchanted Tree?
The secret room holds three things:
- Butterfly Net: free, and you must pick it up. Butterflies won’t appear for you until the net is in your inventory.
- Conversion Center: a trade-up area for the butterfly loop.
- Enchanted Mutation Shrine: where you redeem butterflies for Enchanted Essence, which guarantees the Enchanted Mutation on an egg.
The shrine recipe asks for 240 Emerald, 115 Sapphire, 40 Amethyst, and 1 Radiant Butterfly, all caught with the net during the Butterfly Bloom event. Treat those numbers as current for Update 7, since mutation costs are the kind of thing devs tune early.
There are also hidden extras connected to the tree, including a Mushroom Puzzle room that leads to a secret egg and the Cricket’s Banjo. For the full biome picture, see our Enchanted Forest guide.
Is Rushing the Enchanted Tree Worth It?
If you’re already past 50B Speed, yes. The Enchanted Mutation is the biggest new carrot in the update, and the earlier you open the tree, the more Butterfly Bloom windows you can use. The Eternal egg quest is the only real bottleneck, so start watching for spawns while you farm the first 20 eggs.

If you’re under the Speed gate, don’t force it. Build income first. Players coming off a big Robux egg like the Extinction Egg usually reach 50B sooner than free players, but both routes get there.
Enchanted Tree Still Sealed? Quick Fixes
- Check the panel. Open Grow Your Wisp and confirm all three rows show done and Return the Wisp has been pressed.
- Re-tap Wisp. The interaction can bug out. Step away, return, and try again.
- Verify Speed. Below 50B, Wisp may not spawn at all.
- Confirm the egg type. Quest 1 needs Enchanted Forest eggs specifically, and quest 2 needs three matching pets.
- Rejoin the server. If the door text still won’t change, a fresh server usually clears it.
Nothing here needs a code. Steal an Egg has no code system, so any site offering “Wisp codes” isn’t legitimate. If a step behaves differently after a future patch, we’ll update this guide.
