Zombified pets in Steal an Egg are special versions of the six pets inside the Robux Halloween Egg. Every hatch carries a separate 1% chance to swap the pet you rolled for its Zombified twin. That’s it. No quest, no code, no Candy Corn route. If you want one, you roll the Robux egg and hope.
The part most players miss is how that 1% stacks with the pet odds. Chasing a Zombified version of a specific pet is far rarer than the headline number suggests. Below you’ll find all six variants, the real odds for each, what they cost in Robux, and whether the gamble makes sense.
What Are Zombified Pets in Steal an Egg?
Think of Zombified as a rare skin-tier layer on top of a normal hatch. The Halloween Egg shows six base pets, and each one has a Zombified counterpart. That gives the Robux egg 12 possible outcomes: 6 regular pets and 6 Zombified ones.

It comes from the same update that brought the Halloween Dimension, but it’s a different system from the dimension’s free pets. The 18 biome pets and the five Candy Corn egg pets have no Zombified roll in anything reported so far.
Which Pets Have a Zombified Version?
All six base pets from the Halloween Egg. Here are their displayed hatch chances:
| Base pet | Displayed chance |
| Pumpkin Fiend | 39% |
| Night Fang | 24% |
| Tombstone Bear | 18% |
| Grave Cerberus | 11% |
| Phantom Dragon | 6.5% |
| Bone Emperor | 0.5% |
Those six add up to 99%, and the shop shows the Zombified chance as its own separate 1% line. That’s why it reads as an extra roll rather than a seventh pet.
How Do You Get a Zombified Pet?
You can’t craft one, trade into one reliably, or earn one from a quest. The route is simple:

- Open the main store and find the Halloween Egg in the Featured tab.
- Buy it with Robux: 99 for one, 249 for three, 799 for ten or 3,499 for fifty.
- Hatch at your base and watch for the Zombified tag on the result.
The dimension’s Candy Corn shop won’t help here. Our Halloween Dimension Egg guide covers that egg’s five pets, and none of them carry the Zombified roll.
One report says Halloween Eggs also spawn rarely in regular biomes, with a spawn feed announcing which one. That would be a free route, but it’s thinly sourced, so treat it as unverified until more players confirm it.
How Many Eggs Do You Need for a Zombified Pet?
At a flat 1% per hatch, you’re looking at one Zombified result per 100 eggs on average. Averages mislead, so here’s the real spread:
| Eggs hatched | Robux (cheapest bundles) | Chance of at least one Zombified |
| 10 | 799 | About 9.6% |
| 50 | 3,499 | About 39.5% |
| 100 | About 6,998 | About 63.4% |
| 200 | About 13,996 | About 86.6% |
Even at 100 eggs, roughly one player in three still comes up empty. And that only covers any Zombified pet.
What Are the Odds of a Specific Zombified Pet?
This is where it gets steep. If the 1% roll is independent of the pet roll, as reports describe it, multiply the two:
| Zombified pet | Combined chance | Roughly one per |
| Pumpkin Fiend | 0.39% | 256 eggs |
| Night Fang | 0.24% | 417 eggs |
| Tombstone Bear | 0.18% | 556 eggs |
| Grave Cerberus | 0.11% | 909 eggs |
| Phantom Dragon | 0.065% | 1,538 eggs |
| Bone Emperor | 0.005% | 20,000 eggs |
A Zombified Bone Emperor would average about 20,000 eggs. That’s a theoretical number, not a plan. These are our calculations from the displayed rates, so if the devs change how the roll works, they change with it.
Are Zombified Pets Worth the Robux?
For collectors, maybe. A Zombified pet is a limited-time rarity that most players won’t own, and the Eternal and top-slot pets are the ones most likely to keep trade value after Halloween.
For income, nobody can say yet. No reliable income-per-second or multiplier figure for Zombified pets has been published. Check the pet’s money per second in your own pen before you assume it beats a normal one. Our all pets list shows how event pets compare once numbers are confirmed.
For your wallet, be careful. You’re paying real Robux for a 1% line. If you’d rather not gamble, stealing the free biome pets and farming Candy Corn costs only time.

A sane approach: set a Robux limit before you open the first egg, and stop when you hit it. Nothing in the odds rewards chasing.
What Isn’t Confirmed Yet?
- Zombified stats. Income, size and trade value haven’t been published.
- Free spawns. The biome Halloween Egg spawn report is single-source.
- Pity or guarantees. None have been reported, so each hatch is treated as independent.
- Return after the event. The Halloween Egg is limited-time, and the event runs through October 24, so check the latest updates for Part 2 or a rerun.
