The Grow a Garden Fairy Event 2026 runs from October 10 to October 17. It’s a returning event with a new bee garden activity, five new plants and fresh rewards layered on top of last year’s loop. The core idea is unchanged: fairies apply the Glimmering mutation to your crops every hour, you hand those crops to the Wishing Well for Fairy Points and Fairy Favor rewards, and you spend the points on upgrades from the Fairy Godmother.
That’s the whole event in one breath. The rest of this guide covers what’s actually new, what the odds look like, and how to spend your points without wasting the week.
When Does the Fairy Event 2026 Start and End?
The event opened at 8:30pm UTC on October 10 and is advertised to close at 8pm UTC on October 17. That gives you roughly 167 hours of play, and the hourly Fairy weather windows are what you’re really farming.
| Milestone | UTC | Pacific | Eastern | UK |
| Fairy Event starts (Oct 10) | 8:30pm | 1:30pm | 4:30pm | 9:30pm |
| Fairy Event ends (Oct 17) | 8pm | 1pm | 4pm | 9pm |
The Fall Finale closed at 8pm UTC on October 10, half an hour before the Fairy Event opened. So there was no overlap. If you missed anything from the Fall Finale, it’s gone, and this event is your next target.
What’s New in the 2026 Fairy Event?
The official patch notes (shared through the game’s Discord and reported by Sportskeeda) list a bee-themed addition plus the usual seeds, pets and cosmetics. Here’s what’s confirmed.
The bee garden activity. You pollinate a flower with your bee, or by pressing E repeatedly, to earn a reward. The patch notes I could access don’t say what the reward is, so I’m not going to guess.
Five new plants:
- Prism Plume
- Flutter Freesia
- Royal Jelly Cup
- Glimmervine
- Jellycap
Rarity, sell value and growth time for these weren’t published at launch. I’ll flag the numbers as unconfirmed rather than invent them.
New containers and gear. The update adds a Fairy Chest (three possible seeds and three possible pets inside), a Fairy Crate (five possible cosmetics inside) and a Fairy Bell. The Fairy Bell’s function isn’t explained in anything I found, so treat any claim about it as unverified for now.
Cosmetics and quality-of-life fixes. There are 4+ new fairy cosmetics and 3 new bee cosmetics. You also get new settings to switch off pet and plant passive notifications, which anyone with a big garden will appreciate, and a fix for the Gentle Drizzle weather.
How Does the Hourly Fairy Weather Work?
Every hour, a Fairy weather window opens and fairies fly into your garden, tagging random crops with the Glimmering mutation. In the 2025 version, that window lasted about 10 minutes at base and could be stretched with upgrades. The 2026 patch coverage confirms the hourly cadence but doesn’t restate the exact length, so check the countdown at the event hub.

Roaming fairies also wander the map. In 2025, interacting with one sent it to your garden to mutate a random fruit, and they handed out Fairy Points. The 2026 notes mention roaming fairies and the Fairy Godmother again, so expect the same behavior.
One more thing from last year: the wiki recorded that fairies visited gardens while players were offline, mutating between 1 and 50 fruits. Whether that carries over in 2026 hasn’t been confirmed.
Is the Glimmering Mutation 2x or 5x?
Sources disagree, and it matters if you’re deciding whether to sell or hand in.
| Source (2025 launch coverage) | Glimmering multiplier |
| Sportskeeda mutation guide | 2x |
| Game Rant update guide | 2x |
| Beebom event guide | 5x |
I couldn’t verify which figure applies this year. The quickest way to settle it yourself: compare a Glimmering crop’s sell price to the same crop without the mutation. Do that once before you start selling anything in bulk.
Fairy Favors: Reward Odds by Wish Tier
Each Fairy Favor asks for specific crops, which must carry the Glimmering mutation. Hand them in and you get a Wish: a choice of three rewards drawn from that tier’s pool. The list also resets, either daily or by paying Fairy Points (the 2025 wiki listed 7,500).

The 2026 wiki table is incomplete, so these are the entries it currently shows. Tier numbers follow the order the table lists them, which is my inference.
| Wish tier | Reward | Chance |
| 1 | 500 Fairy Points | 31.25% |
| 1 | Fairy Targeter (x1) | 15.62% |
| 1 | Fairy Crate (x1) | 6.25% |
| 2 | 500 Fairy Points | 23.08% |
| 2 | Fairy Crate (x1) | 15.38% |
| 2 | Fairy Bell (x1) | 15.38% |
| 2 | Fairy Chest (x1) | 7.69% |
| 2 | Fairy Targeter (x1) | 7.69% |
| 3 | 750 Fairy Points | 25.86% |
| 3 | Fairy Chest (x1) | 17.24% |
| 3 | Fairy Bell (x3) | 13.79% |
| 3 | Fairy Crate (x1) | 13.79% |
| 3 | Fairy Targeter (x3) | 3.45% |
| 4 | 2,000 Fairy Points | 22.73% |
| 4 | Fairy Chest (x1) | 22.73% |
| 4 | Fairy Bell (x5) | 15.15% |
| 4 | Fairy Crate (x1) | 7.58% |
| 4 | Fairy Targeter (x5) | 3.03% |
| 5 | Fairy Chest (x3) | 27.03% |
| 5 | Flutter Freesia Seed (x1) | 5.41% |
Two things stand out. The Fairy Chest, which holds both seeds and pets, becomes the most likely drop in the late tiers. And the Flutter Freesia seed shows up at only 5.41% in tier 5, so if you want it from the Wishing Well rather than a chest, you’ll be grinding.
If you’ve been chasing rare drops through the Shady Scarecrow for Maple Melt, this will feel familiar: tiered pools, random picks, and rarer items sitting at the bottom of the odds table.
How Do You Get Fairy Points?
Two routes. Completing the requested Fairy Favor gives bonus points and the Wish. Handing in any other Glimmering crop gives points only, with no Wish. So hand in the requested crops first, then dump the rest.

Points scale with the crop’s rarity. These values come from a 2025 guide, so treat them as the likely 2026 baseline rather than confirmed:
| Crop rarity | Fairy Points |
| Common | 1 |
| Uncommon | 2 |
| Rare | 3 |
| Legendary | 4 |
| Mythical | 5 |
| Divine | 6 |
| Prismatic | 7 |
| Transcendent | 8 |
Silver, Gold and Rainbow variants added +1, +2 and +3 on top. It works much like Fall Energy did in the autumn quests: the more you plant of the right things, the faster the meter moves.
The practical takeaway is simple. One Transcendent crop with a Rainbow variant is worth far more than a pile of Commons, so your best plots should hold your rarest plants during the weather window.
What Should You Buy From the Fairy Godmother First?
The Fairy Godmother sells permanent upgrades for Fairy Points. The 2026 wiki lists these three: Roaming Fairy Spawn Amount, Fairy Event Duration and Fairy Spawn Amount. The 2025 event also had a Glimmer Multiplier, and the 2026 list is cut off in my sources, so check whether it’s back.
The 2025 caps, which may differ this year:
| Upgrade | 2025 cap | What it does |
| Fairy Event Duration | 10 upgrades, up to 20 minutes | Longer weather window |
| Fairy Spawn Amount | 9 upgrades | More fairies in your garden |
| Glimmer Multiplier | 10 upgrades | More Fairy Points from Glimmering crops |
Maxing everything cost over one million Fairy Points in 2025. You won’t get there in a week unless you’re farming hard, so prioritize.
My recommendation, as reasoning rather than tested fact: early on, put points into Duration and Spawn Amount, because they create more Glimmering crops and everything else feeds from that. Once you’ve got a steady supply, a multiplier (if it exists this year) pays back faster. With only seven days, avoid spreading points thinly across all four upgrades.
What Do the Fairy Targeter and Other Gear Do?
| Item | What it does | Confidence |
| Fairy Targeter | Pulls fairies toward specific plants in your garden | Confirmed (2025 patch notes) |
| Mutation Spray Glimmering | Applies Glimmering to a chosen crop | Confirmed (2025) |
| Fairy Chest | 3 possible seeds, 3 possible pets | Confirmed (2026 patch notes) |
| Fairy Crate | 5 possible cosmetics | Confirmed (2026 patch notes) |
| Fairy Bell | Not explained in sources found | Unconfirmed |
The Targeter matters most for the Wishing Well. If a Fairy Favor asks for something specific, aim the fairies at that plant instead of hoping.
A Simple Route for the Week
- Plant for the Favor. Check what the Wishing Well wants and plant those crops before the next weather window.
- Send the roaming fairies to your garden. Interact with them whenever they’re nearby.
- Harvest only Glimmering crops during and right after the window. Selling Commons early is a distraction.
- Turn in the requested crops first. That triggers the Wish. Then hand in leftover Glimmering crops for raw points.
- Pollinate with your bee between windows so the bee garden activity isn’t wasted time.
- Spend in batches at the Fairy Godmother instead of buying every upgrade the moment you can afford it.
Will Fairy World Come Back?
Not confirmed. The patch notes are labeled Fairy Event Part 1. In 2025, Part 2 arrived a week after launch and added Fairy World, a dedicated shop and extra pets and seeds. That suggests a follow-up is plausible, but nothing official says so yet. If one is announced, this guide will be updated.
Also worth noting: last year’s Part 2 pets, such as Cardinal and Phoenix, came from the Fairy World and chests. Don’t assume they’re obtainable in Part 1.
